I read this book 3 years ago when it came out in Spanish in Argentina. It is a short critique of Empire. I think it raises some very interesting points and is an important book for it offers a latin american perspective on Hardt's and Negri's thought. If I remember well, Boron argues with some bitterness that "the old" Negri would have never written something like Empire, which denies the absolutist role of the U.S. in the geopolitical map. Looking back, I think Boron's book might have misunderstood some of Empire's points (who has not?).
