A good book with just minor setbacks. The good things: -Emmett's kids. I think it was interesting to see the male character already having family. It was a challenge for the love story with 3 kids in between. Good aspect. -Melody's attitude. Very strong female. She knows exactly what she wants. She always told Emmett her feelings, she was open to everything, and actually in this case, she even seemed more passionate than Emmett. She also tries to befriend his children in order to build a family. Great character. The bad things: -The relationship with Emmett's ex. I think it is a little unrealistic that the ex wife can just come along after she left her husband in the middle of the night and with 3 kids. I dont believe it would be that easy to forgive someone for that. It just seems too perfect. -Emmett's relationship with his kids. Although it is hard for a dad to deal with 3 kids, it seems like hes more worried about getting into bed with someone than educating and caring for his children. Overall, its a good story. I recommend it, because its a little different than the usual bachelor and timid female. It comes up short on some things, but a good one nonetheless.
One of Diana Palmers best.

An entertaining read. One of the best out of the Long Tall Texas series. Calhoun is good also.
