Fabulous!! Must read!!! Ten stars!!!!!

Terrific children's story; entertaining to all us kids of every age told by a wry, wonderful storyteller. Folks in Riverside, Calif., know him through his newspaper column, but to the rest of the country, he is the best kept secret of Southern California writers of all time. And that is too bad. His wonderful wit shines through in this his first book. And Gary's illustrations are amazing. Here is a book that ought to be on every bestseller list and on every book shelf on the planet.
