A Visual Feast!

In this book about emeralds, large clear photographs present the natural beauty of the stones, along with the skill and imagination of the craftsmen who designed the pieces of jewelry. A bit is told about many of the pieces,from where they came,and who owned them. Surprise! Not all emeralds are in the classic shape and diamond-like cut that you may expect. Among the unusual pieces from all over the world,there are wonderful examples of Art Deco and other periods. I don't imagine that many of us will ever have the means to own any of these lovely emeralds, but seeing them at such a reasonable price is the next best thing!
