Six stories from 4.5 stars to 2 stars, and ranging from romantic to erotic.

4.5 stars for WOLF'S LAW by Cheyenne McCray. Very good, very nice, feel good story. Passionate lovemaking. Analeen was kidnapped by two men who planned to rape her and sell her. Law is a shape-shifting wolf/man who rescues her. DATA: Story length: 41 pages. Sexual language: strong. Number of sex scenes: 2. Length of sex scenes: 2.7 and 8 pages. Setting: unspecified time in a forest. Copyright: 2004. Genre: paranormal romance. OTHER BOOKS: To date, I've read one other book by Cheyenne McCray. My 3 star review of "Chosen Prey" Copyright 2007 was posted 6/28/08. 4.5 stars for LOOKING FORWARD by Mary Wine. STORY BRIEF: Earth is overpopulated. Some humans traveled to another planet where land is available to buy. An Amish-type community goes there. They need to pay something to the Tailarmarian people to buy the land. Leah is part of the community. Her husband recently died. The Tailarmarians come to accept payment, and Leah finds herself attracted to one of them. The Tailarmarians decide to take Leah as payment since they have a shortage of women. The Tailarmarian views and customs about sex are very different from the community Leah came from. REVIEWER'S OPINION: Well done. It had me chuckling. There is a very hot sex scene. I like the way Aaron reads Leah's mind during sex which directs his actions. He is arrogant but he cherishes her. The story is different from most of what I read, and I continued thinking about it afterwards. DATA: Story length: 42 pages. Sexual language: moderate. Number of sex scenes: 3. Length of sex scenes: 1.1 to 6.4 pages. Total number of sex scene pages: 10. Setting: unspecified future time on the Tailarman planet. Copyright: 2004. Genre: fantasy romance. 3 stars for WRITERS UNBLOCKED by Diana Hunter. STORY BRIEF: Two romance novel authors are married to each other and in love. They each have a private fantasy that they don't act on and have never told each other. She wants to be tied up and suffer pain. He wants to do that. REVIEWER'S OPINION: Good but not as good as the author's other stories, probably because it was so short with not enough time to develop characters and emotions. DATA: Story length: 27 pages. Sexual language: strong. Number of sex scenes: 3. Length of sex scenes: 1.5 to 14.5 pages. Total number of sex scene pages: 17. Setting: current day unspecified location. Copyright: 2004. Genre: erotic contemporary romance. OTHER BOOKS: For a list of my reviews of other Diana Hunter books, see my 5 star review of "Table for Four" posted 12/13/08. 2.5 stars for VOYEURS: OVEREXPOSED by Sherri L. King. STORY BRIEF: Shikars live in secret, underneath the surface of the earth's crust. Daemons feed on humans. The Shikar men go above ground to fight Daemons to protect the humans. The Shikars do this in secret. They don't want humans to know that the Shikars and Daemons exist. Alek is a human who took pictures of some Shikars fighting Daemons. Agate is a Shikar

Hot, steamy and utterly romantic

This book is the third in a series of fantasy erotic tales from the queens of female erotica. This book contains six short stories, each of which are fantastic in their setting, but including hot, steamy and utterly romantic sex. I love this book, and give it my highest recommendations. By the way, the six authors are Cheyenne McCray, Anya Bast, Diana Hunter, Mary Wine, Delilah Devlin and Sherri L. King. My favorite story is actually the first - Wolf's Law by Cheyenne McCray.
