Memories of Ellicott City

My grandfather lived in Ellicott City, but retired to Florida several years ago. I bought this book for him last month, and mailed it to him....it was his birthday. He called me today, and I could tell he had tears in his eyes. This book brought back all the memories of his youth, and we talked on the phone for over an hour, as he told me stories from his childhood. He has been to many of the places in this book, and knew many of the stories offered. You would have thought I gave him a pot of gold.....without a doubt the best birthday gift I have ever given him. Thanks to the author for doing an excellent job.

Stroll down memory lane.....

I gave 2 copies of this book to my father and brother for Christmas gifts. We lived in Ellicott City for several years and it was nice to look through it together. Ellicott City was a great town to grow up in and it appears that it still is.
