Great read

Although the author seemed to take some artistic license in setting the scene throughout parts of the book I felt it did not take away from the story of Eliza. If anything it helps the reader grow closer to Eliza Hamilton, of whom so little was known prior to the now famous musical. As you read, you see Eliza as more than a historical figure. Readers will find themselves relating to Eliza as she balances her marriage and responsibility of being a mother. I enjoyed this book and found myself staying up more than one late night to read just a little more.
