The legend of a sky goddess who overcomes her disappointment at losing Prince Borealis and goes on to reign as Queen of the Sky. This description may be from another edition of this product.
We love this book. The illustrations are bold and bright, as is the heroine, (who does her job well and knows her own mind.) The tale is a nice rendition of how the Milky Way came to be, one I've never read anywhere else.
Excellent rendition of unusual fairytale

This is an excellent rendition of an unusual myth -- an Estonian version of the tales of Roman gods which explain why the earth works. It talks about why Elinda won't marry the north star, the moon or the sun. Lovely illustrations.
