Bad Experience with Quality

Ordered a Very Good condition, instead got one that had been crumpled and folded all over the cover and throughout the book. Automated customer service sent a replacement, which was covered in a black substance I had to clean off. Customer service was very hard to reach.

Modern Take - Fabulous

I've read various renditions of Jane Austen novels by other authors - most highly enjoyable and wickedly witty. Time periods same era as Austen's time or a modern slant interjected by other novelists. Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld, is a well written, elaboate plot containing many subplots and twists. Character development top notch. Humorous throughout. I liked the shorter chapters, often spurniong one on to continue reading. Long chapters can get winded and dull. I highly recommend this novel and look forward to reading other novels by this author.
