Extraordinarily great manga with excellent artwork, compelling story and lots of fantasy action!!

If you guys are major fantasy manga fans, then I would highly recommend picking up Elemental Gelade to add it into your collection. This manga highly deserves a 5-star rating in my book; the moment I read this manga, I immediately fell in love with it. The plot of Elemental Gelade is described more thoroughly in the original manga than in its anime adaptation. In fact, it is practically better than its anime adaptation. Plus, the action sequences are more visually detailed. Cou, a young, spunky and reckless sky pirate of the Red Links discovers a young girl named Ren inside a treasure box/coffin. She is on a journey to go to Edel Garden, which he decides to accompany with. He later finds out that she is not only an Edel Raid, a humanoid weapon with the ability to transform into a weapon by reacting to a Pledger (namely Cou); but a very powerful one by bloodline. However, he also discovers many troubles soon follows them on their journey after realizing that Ren is a most wanted prize as Arc Aile arrives to take her custody (claiming to protect Edel Raids), and later on others for greedy, devilish deeds. While some of you may think of the plot as "generic", Elemental Gelade will become a definite favorite to hardcore fantasy genre lovers. The artwork in Elemental Gelade is simply amazing. Each page features stunningly-cute character designs and beautiful, extraordinary artwork that is detailed very well. The background art and action panels are astonishing; they were drawn greatly and it highly depicts strong, dynamic action. Believe me, the artwork really ties in with the story a lot, and after finishing the first volume, it will leave you craving for more. Excellent artwork, terrific characters, and a nice story with lots of fantasy action, Elemental Gelade is a really great and terrific manga that you really should HAVE to read 100%, and I strongly advise you to do not let this chance slip by you.
