Everything You Need To Know To Start An E-Business

Electronic Commerce is an essential resource for anyone considering starting or growing an existing internet business. Loshin/Vacca's text discusses the advantages and obstacles of online commerce with examples of successful e-commerce businesses and how they did it. Detailed chapters covering website design as well as security and payment issues which are critical to keeping e-business in business. Lastly a glossary of internet terms, a listing of electronic commerce online services, electronic data interchange transaction codes and e-commerce conferences are particularly useful for anyone interested in e-business.

Best Electronic Commerce Book

Great book to buy if you want to quickly understand and transact business over the Internet. The fourth edition has the latest material on mobile electronic commerce, security technologies, server options, enterprise applications, investing online, smart cards and supply change management. I found a thorough discussion of Internet security issues, like Secure Socket Layer, public key encryption, S-HTTP, Java security, firewalls, and routers. I especially made use of the Appendix D, which gives the major list of e-commerce conferences; trade shows and URL contact information.

The latest on Electronics Commerce

Electronic Commerce provides the reader with the latest information and research material to start their own e-commerce business. The chapters present topics on security, electronic payment methods, protocals, payment systems and much more. A guide to the enclosed cd provides more resources and software to help setup an e-business. An appendix provides an up to date index of e-commerce conferences. A book everyone should uses and have as a e-commerce reference.

Web surfer or day trader, Gotta have this book

This is the best consolidated reference on e-commerce that I've read. Most books go way overboard into technical mumbo jumbo and put the reader to sleep. The teamwriting of Loshin, Vacca and Murphy work very well in this book by breaking up the aspects of e-commerce into very digestable spoonfuls of wonderfully relevant information. Data in this book is highly up-to-date and the examples and references used are well organized and easy to read. The sections on computer security is especially fascinating. Read how our existing e-commerce providers and users try to keep our data systems secure. A must read. A++ for this book.

E-MADE EASY!

I highly recommend buying this book! It's everything you wanted to know about e-commerce and more. Every question I had was answed somewhere in this book. The writing style was easy to understand and never boring. It's well worth the money! I will continue to use this book as a reference.
