Great Resource

I purchased this book to give me some suggestions of best methods when working with Oppositional Defiant kids. It gave several suggestions that I can use in my classroom right away!

Educating the Oppositional and Defiant Children

I am a community day school teacher. I work with kids with emotional challenges. I have a student with ODD and I read 3 books before I found this one. It was the only one that gave me a clinical definition, very specific and helpful. I also appreciated the concrete, practical ideas for classroom structure and interaction. As a result, I am taking some trainings that include some of the techniques described in the book. I feel empowered and eager to try out the new techniques to help my student be more successful and less ansxious. I highly recommend this book to educators dealing with defiant students.

Wonderful Resource!!

I ordered this book to utilize as a educational resource for the school district I work in. The staff love it!!
