Professor Ravitch documents in this dictionary a near-complete list of the technical terms to be found in education. This in my view should be the basis for further education research, given that a literature review and definition of terms would precede any serious study into all areas of human endeavour. Professor Ravitch has a strong background in this area and her work must be considered to be a near-definitive text.
