Cowboy in the Rockies

I thoroughly enjoyed this down-home collection of true stories written by a real cowboy who lived way up in the mountains in a cabin that he built with his wife. McCough is a good storyteller with fine descriptive powers, particularly when it comes to nature. This is the flip side of the grim West portrayed by E. Annie Proulx.
