A Plethora of Ideas

Laura Robb's guide to teaching vocabulary minilessons is terrific. I have been using it since it arrived and do not know how I managed before I bought it. I find the strategies helpful as I struggle to provide the kind of vocabulary instruction the children need while using the Teacher's College model of reading and writing instruction. I had been frustrated with the lack of time to teach vocabulary and find that her suggestions weave the instruction into the reading program smoothly.
