A word to the wise

Those who already love Chalmers' novels -- "Who's Who in Hell", "Fortune's Bastard" -- and are considering buying this sight unseen, be aware this IS "Fortune's Bastard", simply differently titled for its British release. Fast, funny, and farcical, with a nod to the bizarre and perverse (cf. Dunn's "Geek Love" and the like) this novel will have you howling with laughter. However, I'd recommend buying its American incarnation instead, simply for its superior cover design.
