The book I ordered is an old volume, published over 30 years ago. It is essentially a "coffee table" book though my reason for wanting it had to do with its documentation of an area in which very little public knowledge is available. The volume was represented to be "like new". In most ways it was and I am pleased with what I received. My complaint is that "like new" should be just that. This volume had a broken spine. Not a big deal, and certainly not an impairment to the purpose I wanted it for, but none the less I feel that representation of a book with a broken spine as "like new" is not an accurate one. Not a big deal- just thought I should point it out. For me, certainly not a 'deal breaker' as it is irrevelant to the purposes I need the volume for.
