'tis a wonderful story for ah that

An excellent book of the Irish family beginning from their frontier days in eastern Iowa. I was especially thrilled to read this as my grandfather was a first cousin to the the grandfather of this family, the Mahoneys, (although their actual name was Sweeney, just like mine). And my grandfather's name, his general store, the saloon, and the farm were mentioned frequently living in Holy Cross Iowa, the town my grandfather helped to establish. There are so many great themes running through this book, you're sure to be informed and interested. Even if you're not a Sweeney, you'll love it. Can't wait for Book 2. David L Sweeney
