Eagle Globe Anchor and Cross I must admit I'm biased, being a Christian, and both knowing the author and serving as a Marine for more than 20 years. This is a very practical book about character. Marines learn early on the importance of character - integrity is something you never compromise. Rick addresses character from a Christian viewpoint and uses vignettes from his journey to help guide the reader. I really enjoyed the way he listed additional verses for reference on each topic he covered. I'd recommend this book for anyone, not just veterans. There might be a few words that 'non-Marines' will not recognize, but it will not take away from the many spiritual nuggets this book has to offer.
