great outdoor mystery to chase away winter duldrums

I loved reading about the wonderful scenery and outdoor activites. The mystery and well developed characters were bonus. This was my first Max Addams mystery. I look foward to reading more.

This is a good series.

I wish there were more. I have read all of the Max Addams books, and they fufilled my expectations. David Leitz throws in a nice dose of "jaded" ad-man macho, a realistic setting and lots of suspense. Fun.

Very clever characters and intriguing story line.

This book brought to life a whole slew of great characters that were very believable and rich. Good mystery fiction writing. It was enjoyed whole heartedly.

Great reading with Fly Fishing connection

The author has truly grabbed both the Fly Fishing adventure and gracefully inserted the mystery of death and suspense to create a unique book that is hard to put down. This book is the first, and only book I have come accross from a true fly fisherman that is not dedicated to the sport, but to the mystique, and fun of fly fishing. This book is written to lean towards the fly fishing adventure with the twist of mystery masterfully mingled in to create a fun adventure in the remote cabin location of Loon Vermont. I found the book a lite adventure and trully pleasefull experiance that I could not put down. When I finished this adventure I went to the book store to locate any other books written by David Leitz and to my dissapointment his second book had not yet been released yet. When it was, I was first in line to get it. Robert Burbag
