This book is a FABULOUS resource for those who want a little more detail than the average commercial duck books supply. Kear's book is a luscious collection of beautiful photographs coupled with brief thumbnail descriptions of all the different families of ducks, outlining their relationships to each other as well as their countries of origin, preferred habitats and mating and feeding habits. For those who have an interest in more exotic waterfowl collections, Kear's book is a wonderful addition to the library. Not only that, but the beautiful binding and cover art make it suitable for coffeetable display. A simply splendid book!
