Fantabulous!

I was thoroughly impressed with Mr. Kadet's first offering to the literary scene. Human entanglements and the fetish world set the background for this "crime" novel that is so much more. A wonderfully written, fun book that shouldn't be missed.

Simply Great!

So, you take the big step, change your life, for the better it seems. You're happy, caught up in the new excitement you have found, the new love, the new life. You're heady and giddy and the world seems to be spinning on its axis at an incredible speed. This is how Perry feels, the main character of "D/s", this is how he wants to feel forever. But of course, nothing lasts forever, as Perry finds out all too soon. Following Perry's journey is in and of itself thrilling. Gary S. Kadet has a way with words such that you can feel Perry's joy, feel his excitement, and yes, feel his pain. D/s is an incredible first novel, one not to be missed. Keep up the wonderful writing! I'll be looking for more from Mr. Kadet!

A great read.

I loved this book, the writing style, the plot, the characters, all brought to you with insight, showing life through both its struggles and its humor. D/s provides a great read for anyone looking for a book to not only hold their interest but leave them looking for more.

A tale not to be missed....

"D/s" portrays BDSM in a light that many of the other S & M writings do not, such as Laura Reese's Panic Snap, which tells a tale of abuse. D/s is about the consensual, the emotion and the beauty that true BDSM players know of and feel so pulled by.The characters are true of any walk of life, some of them intelligent, some not so, some fat, some thin, a cross-section of humanity as in all walks of life. The tale is fiction, but full of life's lessons, wisdom, trappings and failings. "D/s" is a book not to be missed by those who dabble in the dark side and by those who don't!

A great romp through the underground

I read the prologue of D/s and just had to know what happened to Perry, the reluctant hero of the book. The pace slowed a bit in the first few chapters, and I feared this would be a 'slow' book. I needn't have worried! Perry's dark, erotic, sometimes hilarious world pulled me in so that I resented any interruption of my reading time right up until I reached the end. Many of the lines made me laugh out loud, and just as many had me choked up with emotion. It all kept me fascinated as I walked through this complex, compelling world. Congrats to Gary Kadet on a sensational debut!
