I have this book and have really enjoyed looking at the patterns over the years. I have drafted one of the patterns. It does take time to follow the graphed patterns. They come in several sizes and, because they are not closely fitted, seem to fit any body type. The styles are classics. Some of the patterns are already printed on pattern paper, making them easy to copy and use. There is no adjustment for petite figures, which I am. I made my own, using the same method as done in commercial patterns. The sewing instructions assume you are at least an intermediate sewer. This book was published in England, so some of the terms are translated for you at the begining of the book. I found this book to be very good and have been sewing for 45 years, so I could fill in the few places where I felt they had left out something in the instructions, although most of my additions were because I like to do things a certain way. There is a very attractive cowl top! I think that anyone who likes Liberty fabrics will like this book and appreciate the classic styles.
