The main character Natalie was engaged to Edward her fiance. (I thought he was a stuffed shirt.) He jilted her, so Natalie decided to visit her mother in the Cotswalds for consolation. There she unexpectedly ran into Nick Marlowe (her old love), whom she had a crush on when she was seventeen. Then Edward reappeared and drove Nick away which devastated Natalie........ The sexual tension was pretty good between the two main characters.(I was so touched I sometimes cried!) I liked that the heroine was beautiful and the hero was handsome.(A must!) I thought that the heroine had red hair was unusual. (I'm usually partial to blonde, brunette, or black hair on the heroine!)
