Dream if you Dare

Dream if you Dare is filled with short stories that will give you nightmares. With the arrival of winter came another challenge, the cold. As it grew colder the desperation also grew. Families were struggling to stay warm due to the lack of heating fuel. For many in our area we needed oil to run the heat in our homes and getting an oil delivery was not even an option. Many had rushed what few gas stations that offered kerosene in an effort of warming their homes. It didn't take long for the gas stations to run out. Many resorted to burning books and other papers in trashcans in their homes. Unfortunately, that resulted in even more deaths and injuries. Hospitals were forced to turn burn victims away due to the number of infected that remained in the hospitals. All of the hospitals were overly filled with infected, many who were simply left alone to die. Our healthcare workers had become fearful to assist the infected due to the constantly changing virus. With no way of protecting ourselves the majority of the healthcare workers abandoned their posts to return to their own families. With fewer and fewer people working in the hospitals this left many people unattended forced to suffer of their injuries or infection. ( Trapped )
