Loving the Dexter series, Charged more than the sticker on the back of the book though

I have watched the Showtime series, loved it and am now reading the books. Surprised to see some of the major characters in the book killed off or seriously wounded but not in the series. I'm currently on book #3, Dexter in the Dark. So I have a few to read before this one. I was a bit miffed to find a price tag cheaper than what I was charged on the back, by $2. But it's cheaper, much cheaper than on Amazon. Book is in great condition.
