Great characters Great Message

Jordan did a great job of developing Taylor, the lead character. She is so complete; its like you are here friend and having a conversationw with her all through the book; the mother character is amazing; complicated, rude and sympathetic all at the same time; I love the characters, the story and the message of God's grace.

An author not to miss.

This was the first book I've ready by James David Jordan. I am hooked and will make a point to read all of his books. This was an exciting, fast paced mystery. The realistic way this male writer portrayed the protagonists emotions as she deals with a mother who abandoned her when she was a child, is realistic and unusual. Watch for the twists and surprises in every chapter. Highly recommend.

Worth the wait!

Since reading Jordan's novel, Forsaken, I have been anxiously waiting to get my hands on Double Cross. It was worth the wait! I was hooked from the first page. Double Cross continues with the character, Taylor Pasbury, from Forsaken. Taylor's mother, Hillary, is introduced at the beginning of the book and it is non-stop action, suspense and fun all the way to the end. I have read all 3 of Jordan's novels and highly recommend all of them. Word of warning... highly addictive!!

Jordan delivers another page-turner

From the moment you turn the first page of his latest novel, Double Cross, Jordan will have you sitting at the edge of your seat. Taylor Pasbury is back in another fast-paced adventure that has it all -- suspense, intrigue, laughs, and even a little romance. You'll be re-acquainted with some of the characters from Forsaken, Jordan's first Taylor Pasbury novel. And you'll be introduced to Taylor's absentee mom, Hillary, who suddenly appears back in her life. Taylor's mom is colorful and unpredictable and helps weave the trail of twists and turns that will keep you up all night reading. Jordan's clever dialogue draws you into the pages of Double Cross and you will feel like part of Taylor's family. With intrigue and suspense as the backdrop, Double Cross is a book about relationships, forgiveness and acceptance. This is a great one!
