with such horrible names circulating now, this book was able to shine new light on the naming game. this is a fabulous book and to every mother/father it is a must read.

A very witty book. Makes you laugh when you think of all the problems with naming a baby. Relatively speaking, this book cracks me up. If you get insulted by the comments by your name, they are probably true.The author even gives his kids great names, pound and pi. That's grand.No one's safe, so just enjoy.

OK, I'm not a parent, but I DO have a name. (An unfortunate one, according to this book.) I can't imagine anyone reading this name guide and not laughing. My favorite part was the section titled, "The Unhappy Lineage and Rivalry of the Desperately Pretentious Suburban Elite." Wicked.
