Don't Hit Him, He's Dead

I first picked up this little gem nearly 25 years ago. I remember seeing it at Waldenbooks and not having enough money to buy it. After saving up, I managed to purchase not only one of the most entertaining sports books ever, but also one of the most humorous. McDonough is a fine storyteller and this may be the only book on officiating in the old AFL. Compared to other books by NFL officials (Tunney,Markbreit), this one is the most readable and enjoyable.
