Priceless!

"Don't forget Michael" is a very good read aloud story - My three children laughed and laughed as they recognized our own family in the everyday comic situations. The book is short and reads very quickly, yet the characters in this large extended family are very well drawn, right down to Grandma's grumpy parrot! I'm on the website to look for more by Jean Thompson - this one came into our hands by luck - she remembers well the child's life, and they 'just don't write them like this anymore!' Two of my three children started writing their own sequels to 'Michael' as soon we finished - they couldn't bear to think this may be all of Micheal, Kevin, Connie, Great Aunt Olivia.....etc!
