If you are unhappy with your job/career then read this book.

Doing Work You Love is an excellent book. I highly recommend it to anyone who is not happy in their current profession. It is inspirational and motivational at helping you to discover what career you really want to have in life. It is easy to read and understand. It also dispels many common myths and fears about job searches and changing careers.

Cheryl Gilman brought my career goals into clear focus.

After reading "Doing Work You Love", I had a better understanding of what it means to embark on a career. I had previously taken jobs to try them on for size, to see how they fit, to see if they "fit" me...only to end up loathing getting up in the morning! Speaking from her own experiences, Ms. Gilman's writing is engaging and humerous, yet to the point and no-nonsense.

After an extensive search, finally someone understands......

Thank you Cheryl Gilman! I have been uncertian of my place in the career world for many years. Unhappy in the work I had been doing, I picked up "Doing Work You Love" and have been extremely pleased with the content and format of the book. Easy to follow, it asks the questions that I have been dodging for years. It is a career search guide as well as a workbook to my future. The key to acheiving results is putting in the 100% effort it takes to get where you want to go. An easy read, but stop to take the time to participate in the "Try This" sections. You'll be glad you did.
