Dogs Made Easy - training made easy, reading made easy

There are lots of dog training books available, some good, some not so good but getting people to actually read an entire book is often difficult for those of us who volunteer with dog rescue groups. Kathie Compton's book addresses the issues we deal with on a daily basis with new owners, new foster families, and some not so new families. This book is easy to read with great information on what people need to know. The photos are great too! I'm going to recommend to my rescue group that we add this book to our recommended reading list in the catagory of "if you don't read anything else, read this book" If there were more stars in the ratings I'd use them, as it is 4 paws up from my foster dogs who have and will benefit from this book

An awsome book for dog newbies

Kathie Compton's book is comprehensive and to the point. I would recommend this book for anyone with a new dog or a first time dog owner. It is written clearly and directly and has great tips on everything from chosing the right leash to understanding dog behavior and how to communicate with them. The author's style is relaxed and familiar so it makes learning fun at the same time.
