Do you Believe in Magic!

I loved this book! I read it fast and was sad at the end because I'll miss these characters. I'm getting all the Goddesses in my life this book! It's a light read, I laughed so much in places I had to put the book down because I couldn't see. My husband was grateful because he benefited from the "hot" sections. It's fiction, it's a faery tale, it's ridiculous, magical, silly and delightful! Anyone with pets believe they understand their animals thoughts and sounds so if they did talk it really wouldn't surprise most of us much. Being a Domestic Priestess and Kitchen Witch myself I delight in the Kitchen Magic. I have a Group of Witch Comandos that regularly come to my house and we create a magical space of food, conversation, support and sisterhood. I met my husband through Magic, I made a list and 4 years later there he was, complete with every trait on my MANifest. So I've experianced magic like this, believe in it, expect it, and learn to roll with. I thank these Lovely Ladies for writing a delicious book. I'll never look at Google the same again however. {and if you want to know what I mean by that read the book!}

Great fun!

I loved this book! It was fun and funny and fast-paced. If you're not into magic and paranormal, this book isn't for you, but if you like a lighter read with something a bit different (with a little bit of woo woo thrown in), you might like this book as much as I did.

A Romance with Goddesses and Talking Dogs

I finished reading this book just this evening and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Romances are not my favorite read. This was lots of fun, great mixing of characters and plot twists. A very enjoyable book to spend the evening with. I highly recommend it.

started slow, but I loved it once I read further

I dont know what happened, but the first time I picked up this book, I wasn't really into it: maybe it was too much explanation about the Goddess or the talking dogs. Not sure if it was the first few pages or something else that wasn't catchy. But I needed a dose of Crusie and Stuart, so I picked it up again, and I couldn't put it down!!I liked all 3 Godddess heroines, especially Shar who had a rotten boyfriend who gifted her a taser when she told him that she wanted more security in her life. Lots of witty lines between Kamani and the evil one. It's a fun read that I couldn't put down.

dogs, goddesses, cookies, and friendship

What can I say- I love dogs and goddesses... so I had high expectations for this book. Actually, I expected a series of separate short stories (since there are 3 authors) and instead was delighted to a 380+ page novel that warmed my heart and delighted me at every moment. Yes, I loved it. The story is of three women (strangers really) who find themselves bound together as friends as they learn about their history, battle an ancient goddess, talk to dogs, find their true loves, and really come into their own individually and as a trio. Just imagine going to a dog class only to find an ancient goddess has summoned you there and you're expected to be one of her priestesses. Oh, and now you can talk to dogs (and they have definite personalities and opinions!) I just love it- blending ancient with new, myth with reality... it's a super fun ride.The authors did make up their goddess and her history- a detail I think was wise. Based in modern day Ohio it was interesting to see how an ancient goddess would (NOT) fit in. She thought a plague would kill people, but it was for a disease easily treated these days. She expects people to bow down to her and obey... yet they don't. At the same time the three new goddesses are discovering their power, primal knowledge, and so much more. Reading from all four of these goddesses was a treat and made this a book I couldn't put down. Smart, funny, and a total delight this book lit my inner goddess for sure! The path to being a goddess for Abby, Daisy, and Shar is paved with cookies, dogs, tonic, love, a temple, a goddess, and lots of female friendship. I can't wait to re-read it again and again.
