Read between the lines people!

I bought a copy of Dog Parenting mainly because I was intrigued by the bad reviews and couldn't believe that it was really that bad. It wasn't! This is an extremely well written book; and really, really funny. Don't you people know tongue and cheek when you see it? For a ton of fun reading and, by the way, some really good advice on being a "dog parent," take a look at this wonderful, light hearted approach to training your dog.

Book for insanely happy & well adjusted dog parents

I really enjoyed reading this book and infact lend mine to my co-worker who is so anxious about this book when I told her about it, she's one of the so called "dog parents". From the very start of the book, I can already see myself and my 4 1/2 year old shih tzu. His many toys, our walks, sleeping in my bed, the connection, the bond, the love. I can say my dog is spoiled and I treated him as my baby, medical insurance, occasional cooking for his food, birthday party for him every year, and I don't see anything wrong with that. I have no kids, I love my dog and treat him as family why not do the same as you do for your family. Luckily, my dog is one of the most well behave (thanks to his puppy class & our consistent training), sweet, loving pet I ever have. Any dog parents/owners can easily relate to this book, and that keeps me wondering how hard and awful the reviews are for this book. I'm planning on giving a few copy of the book this christmas to some of my dog parent friends and Im pretty sure they will like it too. This book is so funny and there's nothing wrong giving the best for your furry loyal friends, how special you treat them, as long as you know how to be a responsible dog owner.
