Delightful and informative

This is a wonderful book! The question and answer format is one that has long been needed for this kind of subject. Examples of two of the questions: "Are we still married to our spouses on the Other Side?" "How is it that the dead, in spirit form, can manipulate material objects on this side?" I had long wondered about the latter, and her answer made perfect sense to me. Concetta does an excellent job of explaining the basics of the afterlife and reincarnation, in a gentle and fun way. I have long believed in what she says, but still enjoyed reading her answers. This is the perfect book to introduce someone to the Afterlife and reincarnation.

Easy To Read, Fun To Talk About, Concetta Is A True Find!

This is a great book for those of you unfamiliar with mediums and exploring the other side of life and death and everything in between. I come from a catholic background so the skeptical side definetely exist in me. As I was taught growing up, when you die, if you are good you go to heaven, if you are bad you go to that other place. Well, I have to say that there is a place where our loved ones go and Concetta Bertoldi knows exactly how to bring them back to us, and she does this ever so cleverly. She puts everything into perspective without pushing her faith or spirit on you. She is clear and to the point with an easy to read question and answer book. She takes you deep into her world and you will find that you will not want to put the book down once you start reading it. I found it great because there is no beginning, and there is no end, and at times I found myself just reading the first entry I would open up to. This is purely reading without pressure; no characters to follow, no story to understand, just a fun filled journey to a place we are all curious about, but could never seem to quite understand. Her short stories are fun to read, her battles with her mother-in-law make you know she is just like the rest of us, and her wit and humor pop right out at you. I have had the privilege of seeing Concetta do her thing in person and her audience is always captivated, her presence is immediately felt and her feel good personality puts you immediately at ease. She can bring a crowd to tears and moments later explode in laughter, as her charm takes over the stage, making you feel as if you have known this woman forever. The hope and love extended to you makes you see that Concetta is a real person and not just an act. This is someone who will make you think twice in what truly lies beyond the limits of this tiny world we live in. This all shines through in this book and you will have fun talking about it with your friends and family; I highly recommend.

Very interesting

When I saw this book, I was a little leery to read it because as a Christian, I've been taught that "mystical" things are to be avoided (psychics, ghosts, etc). However, Bertoldi often mentions that she belives in God and that in her "readings," she asks for God's protection. That, plus the interesting title, caused me to read the book, and I am glad that I did! For people who are unsure about the afterlife or the existence of God, in no way does Bertoldi preach or push her beliefs throughout the book. She even mentions that her husband is a nonbeliever. Rather, Bertoldi shares her experiences and the things that she has learned from the spiritual world. Personally, I've never really been a believer in ghosts and aliens and things, but Bertoldi's work makes a really good case for a spiritual world that is near our own. It hasn't made me a hard-core believer in mediums and such, but it's at least opened my mind more, helped answer random questions that I've had about death, etc. It made me stop and question if I'm living a good life, and it helped pull my focus away from living an Earth-life to trying to live a life that is more fit for Heaven. Very interesting book. I highly recommend it!

Totally engrossing

while maintaining a light playful air about a subject that is far from whimiscal. Concetta is a rare find. Her accuracy and connection to the spirit life is uncanny. Her personality jumps right off the page. A must read for anyone remotely interested in the subject.

Already a Believer

I loved this book. I can't say that Concetta Bertoldi convinced me that life of the spirit continues beyond physical death because I was already a believer. But I loved Concetta's warmth and irreverence, and while a lot of her stories just confirmed what I already believed, there were also a LOT that made even a believer say, "Wow." One thing that stood out for me is nothing "paranormal" or "spiritual" at all - that was Concetta's advice for anyone who wants to be happier, just SMILE.
