yeah!

Isn't it classic? No matter how many time Dark/Daisuke transforms in front of the Harada twins, neither will find out Daisuke's secret til the end of the book. Oh, well. This book, as always with this awesome series, was very funny (the laughs are important) as well as the ending, which kept you wishing it were time for the next book to come out. Daisuke is trapped in the Toki No Byoushin, or the Second Hand of Time, throughout the book, and the only way to get him back is by getting the painting that he had given to Riku, which is where the artwork transferred to when Daisuke touched the original TnB. Obviousely, if you've read as far as six, then you're gonna want this book, and it is only right that you get the eighth one after. so, this book gets a 5 outta 5 from me. Rock on Sugisaki-San!!

Excellent

If you've come this far in the series, you know what a mastermind Yukiru Sugisaku is. If you're starting now, what are you doing at book seven and get the first six already! For the sake of not revealing anything overly important [that and I haven't read this one in a while], there will be no spoilers. However, you can't be disappointed with another appearance by Krad, more of the beautiful artwork we know and love, and all the good times to be had with Daisuke, Takeshi, and the rest of the gang!

Another Excellent Volume of DNAngel

I think that volume 8 may be one of my favorites in the series. Daisuke is trapped inside his painting where he meets a girl named Freedert, the heroine of the story "Snow and Ice". He finds out from her that the version of the story that he's always heard is not what really happened, and she tells him the true, tragic version. Meanwhile, Riku and Risa try to steal back Daisuke's painting that Dark had stolen from them. The art is as good as always, and the story is better than usual. I would have liked to have seen more romance between Daisuke and Riku, but I suppose not every volume can focus on it. If you've been reading the series, you should definately pick this one up. If not, read the rest first. It really is a good series.
