A pop treasure

This book is a riveting pop treasure that will leave you wanting more. A quick and furious read with enough twists and turns, and lovable characters like Alba rushing you through the story, to have you search out the next in the series as soon as you put this down!

GREAT DESCRIPTION OF MUSIC; OUTSTANDING READ.

Both Diva and Nancy are among my favorite books. They are short and have fantasic elements of fun.

Read it three times over on a transatlantic flight

I have to agree with our Canadian friend. Except, liking of Jazz, or Raymond Chandler is not required. I have re-read Diva many times over the last 10 years. The characters and situation, though incredible, are all too believable. Start with Diva, then read in sequence. You'll want to disconnect the phone that weekend. A mystery novel without the usual stereotyped characters.

Pop fiction

Delacorta's Diva series (Diva, Nana, Luna, Lola, Vida, and Alba) are all incredible works of slick, new wave style. I would recommend this book for anyone interested in French pop culture, jazz music and Raymond Chandler; but buy the whole series at once because, like candy, you only want more.
