Mmmmmmmm!

Hilarious. Outrageous. Gut-wrenching. Sizzling. Tender. Insightful. Superb!! Three cheers for 40-something wisdom and allure. Impeccably coifed, individually packaged, the sassy six devulge their wildest fantasies, obsessions, grief, tribulations, conquests, and convictions in one steamy all-night read. We meet their families and lovers, friends and enemies, spirits and demons as they spill beans, bear their souls and deliciously expose themselves in one memorable short story after another. They seem driven by some unexplainable force, ever exploring their insatiable appetites for power, control, success, love and adventure not to mention chocolate, wine, cafe con leche, and certain unmentionables. They juggle, jiggle, sweat, swear, hail Mary, hail the chief, knock on wood, shop, drop, climb peaks, sneak, weep, jet set, wet, wed, unwed, weigh-in, hire, fire, and bid farewell. There is a little tidbit for each of us in "Dish and Tell". Hang onto your hats! It's a bumpy ride. I keep this one nearby and reference it often. Like a good dose of therapy, the Bombshells inspire me to work hard, play harder, love intensely, live for the moment, forgive gravity, eat gravy and devour life's delicious treasures. Yummy.

Not just a Chick's book

This is not just a Chick's book... MEN if you are in any type of relationship this is a must read. How else can you get intimate with six women, obtain insight on their inner feelings and struggles, then turn around and use that knowledge to improve (and impress) your current relationship (without her finding out!). The fact of the matter is that this book had me laughing, crying (yes, men do cry!) and at times uncomfortable (you have to read the book to understand why). Congratulations (Bravo!) BOMBSHELLS you have opened my eyes and definitely made me better person, but most importantly, DISH and TELL taught me to better appreciate the lady next to me. Ladies, take a risk and temp your guy to read DISH and TELL, you may be surprised; I was.

Fantastic READ!

I could not put this book down! I never imagined that a book entitled "Dish and Tell" could be so much more than just simple anecdotes of gossip and such. DISH and Tell is inspiring, enligtening, moving, funny, and empowering. There is something for everyone in this book. I was moved to tears one moment and suddenly the next story had me laughing so hard my belly was in pain! Then out of no where it takes you to a place far in the abyss of your soul and it moves you to a place that is not easy to find. Its a place where you grow from learning from others experiences and realizing that you are not ALONE. Every woman should read this book, not only becasue of its poetic justice to the struggles of the everyday woman, but also because you realize that every woman, regardless of her status, is on the same road. Its a battle for us all. I read this book twice, in less than 24 hours. Its more than just a read, it is inspirational. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK. READ IT! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!!!!! READ it before the movie comes out...this will definetely end up on the screen!!!
