It's clear from reading Rommel's book that he understands that the campaign against crime is not about fighting fairly. Thugs and criminals regularly lie to avoid paying for their crimes, and will even bring false accusations, such as "racism" and "brutality," against the cops who arrest them. This book is a compact volume, drawn from street experience, on how to level the playing field in the fight against crime. Both cops and citizens need to know these techniques of carrying the fight to the criminal, and they need to understand how to play dirty, because certainly criminals don't "play fair." This ground-breaking and original book goes a long way toward evening the odds.
