Jeff MacNelly is one of the greatest American cartoonists ever. I know of only 2 collections of his political cartoons (if anyone knows about more: Please pass the word!!!!). His Directions (from 1984) shows his art in full bloom. His approach to politics I find sort of British: A humorous distance, where states his case with an elegance and a presicion that nobody in this genre can match today. A unique combination of art and politics!
