Life-the-flap DINOSAURS:Great for Children

The cover of this book is rich and colorful, that's what hooked me into buying it, plus the fact my son loves dinosaurs. It looked kid friendly, bright and colorful and somewhat cartoonish because the illustrations are so cute. BUT when you go through the pages it's very realistic - it's just that the colors are so rich it makes the dinosaurs look sweet and harmless. Almost. The drawings are so cute. It's a simple read and children with enjoy it, lifting the different flaps - seeing what the dinosaurs are doing or what's under the flaps. I liked the way they described the Ankylosaurus and it's tail, when you pull the flap, his tail hits a Troodon. You will see what I mean when you get to the pages with the T-Rex. This kid friendly book contains colorful, detailed illustrations, facts about the dinosaurs, and it's funny too. But truthfully, I can't say enough about the wonderful illustrations. This book is a great learning tool for young children. I definitely recommend this book, parents and children will love it. You will not be disappointed. This is simply a georgeous book in every sense of the word.

Great Book

Fun to read for 2 year olds, 4 year olds and adults. The pages are durable and facts are made fun. One of my kids favorite book.

My 3.5 yo daughter received this book for Christmas. She is obsessed with 2 things, dinosaurs and lift the flap books :). This has the best of both worlds for her. The pictures are life like but not too scary, the flaps are fun. It has some interesting facts about dinosaurs. She really likes it!

Son's favorite

My 3 and 1/2 year old picked this book out when we went to the dinosaur museum. He is absolutely dinosaur obsessed. This book get sread at bed time every night then is tucked in with him. It's bright and coloful and educational as well. He knows all the names of the dinos featured and has even picked up some facts to pass on to his grandparents. I would highly reccomend this book to parents.
