Bought on a whim

Bought this on a whim. Was wondering through a bookstore and just happened upon it. I read the description and was all kinds of excited for time travel and dinosaurs. I was not disappointed. I was very pleased with the touch of science it had. I had some speculations this was a sequal and had to do a little bit of research to find out its the 3rd in a series. Though it is a good stand alone series, it gives enough info so you don't think you're missing a whole lot. I can't wait to get the first ones so I can have a full story.
