This book deeply touched my heart. In 1982 on November 19th, Dino was the first person I'd ever heard speak of Jesus in the redolence such as he knew Him, now, today. Dino and Jesus his confidant with whom one is enjoined. This lingered with me, but I didn't comprehend "it" as more than a concept, or... as more than "wishful thinking" and/or non-exaggeration until I met Jesus the Holy Spirit over ten years later. That night, something else he said stuck with me; word of wisdom that has featured its fruit to be missing by the practice of many in the church. He mentioned something like, that, were we ever to hear anything about someone-- not to jump to conclusions or repeat the "news", but rather to pray for that person. Reading of all that this servant-hearted pianist has been through has taught me about my own motives. Rather than kindle a fire, or allow someone to think less considerably of those he loves, this scion-of-the-faithful has trusted God while others assume and have whispered about him. Mr. Kartsonakis does not draw attention to himself in this way, but has become a proven example with his actions as a public figure and as a hand of acquaintance to the would-be "fan" or critic, over the years . . . speaking with God for those with who(m) he has been known (by many, many lives) to avail his paths for overlap. If you read this book, you may perceive what it means to survive within the wings of prayer; to ought to see actuality as more diverting than reality, better learning what it means to carry your cross, and to hear & experience the love-letter power of SelfExistingEternal with child-like trust and loyalty.
