I am glad to see this wonderful reference work is still around, though I shudder at the cost of the hardbound edition. My name stamp inside the cover tells me I bought my copy on February 9, 1970, and the retail price on the front is $.75 (seventy-five cents, not dollars). Over the years I have found this not only an excellent source for reference, but also a source of entertaiment. This is a must for word lovers learning what were once common expressions. Q.B.S.M.
