Great book

After I have read Bakhin's book and then come to this one, I found it is clearly presented and makes it easier to understand Bakhin, whose ways are not so Amercian. But if you have not read Bakhtin's book, this one is still a good book, but not so understandable. I love this book and highly recommend it.
