Devotions to the Saints

This book is a wonderful collection of each the saints' attributes and prayers in mind for that particular saint, also tells which days the saints rules on and how to perform everyday simple rituals that mostly involve candle. It is defenitely worth the small investment.

Cant complain

While this is an Anna Riva book I would agree with the person who commented that its moslt likely her best. Its nice to find small books like this with prayers that can be added to personal work and devotion. There are many saints presented here including many of the commonly worked saints in Hoodoo. I use it sometimes when looking for an appropriate prayer or devotion. This book is also ideal to use with 7-day religous candles.

Very Nice

I have had this book for a number of years and I use it almost daily. Though many of the Anna Riva books are notorious for misinformation or omiting things, this one is an exception. There are many Saints listed and prayers for most. The end scecion also has daily prayers, weekly prayers, prayers for certain needs and special intentions, morning, afternoon, evening, and nighttime prayers. For the cost I highly reccomend adding this book to your library. Its just the right size to carry with you in a purse or bookbag or to keep on the altar.

good for a collection

I have had this book for many years and am actualy on my second copy. The prayers and information presented herein are both useful and powerful. I highly reccomend this book to anyone who works with the power of the saints.

A Small Book--But Informative

This book contains, as the title implies, devotions to the Christian saints. This little volume also contains a fair amount of information about the saints (including a few obscure ones, in addition to the more popular saints). There are brief biographical sketches for each saint listed here, as well as patronage and feast days. There are also prayers to and by the saints. This is certainly not a comprehensive index of the saints of Christendom, but it's an interesting little volume, nonetheless. A basic guide.
