I have given this as a gift to everyone of my brothers in Christ.

This devotional is one that I both love and hate. I love how it guides me to places I need to be and how it causes me to examine my life. Patrick Morley writes like he has known me for years, and discusses subjects that don't normally come up in my conversation. Then there are the days I read this devotion, and I get nailed. I get exposed in Morley's critical eye as he directs me to a condition I have, that as a believer I should not have, and don't want to admit I have it and most certainly don't want to give it up. But through the author's carefully selected words, and time, I find great benefits in giving up that coveted thing, idea, habit, etc. My favorite line in the book is: "There is a God who is and a god we want. The two are not the same." Morley will guide you through the two, and help you gain depth and closeness to the God who is, and become freed from the god we want.
TERRIFIC!

this book is a constant companion & resource for me, and I'm not usually classified as an evangel christian. This book puts everday information regarding "How to" get Christ into your thoughts, prayers, and motivation for living. It is divided into short, sustinct chapters. Most who want to follow Christ, develop & mature a personal relationship with our Savior will NOT be disappointed!
