Not the best YA horror book, but not awful.

I used to read this series when I was a kid and I'm now collecting them as an adult. I remember starting this one back in the 80's and not finishing it because I got bored. I re-read this and I still thought it was boring and very predictable. A young man named Peter finds an antique whistle that used to belong to one of his ancestors. He blows it and if you know how these stories go, you know what happens until the end. I give three stories for the setting, I enjoy horror stories that take place in a beach town.
