Developing Vocabulary Skills

I found this book extremely well planned and easy to use. Whether the individual is using it or it is being used by a teacher/tutor, it is a great resource. The format of breaking the vocabulary down into the category of words is helpful. For example, one chapter focuses on noun suffixes, which describes those words that are always nouns with those endings. The word is later reviewed in the adjective suffix section. This enables the student to see that the same words can be used in a number of different ways. It is irrelevant if you are not familiar with what the category of the words are called, such as noun, verb, adjective, etc.; it is all explained. Rather than just a list of words to memorize it gives you a strategy to learn to use all the words you may encounter. This book can be a resource for anyone.
