I've been teaching undergraduate Research Methods in Psychology for over 10 years now and this laboratory manual has been a jewel. The exercises use real published research to teach specific skills. And the price is quite reasonable given the prices of most college textbooks. I highly recommend psych profs responsible for teaching research methods give this supplemental text a good look. The only drawback is that it is a bit dated. It hasn't been updated since 1995, and the publisher doesn't seem interested in publishing a newer edition. This is the only reason I don't give it 5 stars. But really, do you need the most recent research for an intro to research methods course?
